A new style of racing for RDYC – fun and friendly on and off the water – designed for cruisers and families

  • Pursuit racing with individual start times – no crowded start line.

Racing Programme

Races are formally programmed on Saturday afternoons and Wednesday evenings starting in April and running through to the end of October. However, since racing is organised via the ‘RDYC Corinthian Class’ WhatsApp group, informal races can be organised whenever like-minded boats want to race!

New for 2025

  • Based on 2024 data, we will be using RDYC Club Handicaps for 2025. This means that you do not need to update your YTC handicap.
  • The start times list will be issued in the same way as 2024. Handicaps will be updated regularly based on performance.
  • Race duration has been increased from 75mins to 90 mins.

  • Please complete the online entry form here.
  • Members new to the Corinthian class should join the ‘RDYC Corinthian Class’ WhatsApp group by contacting Richard Balfry ([email protected]) with your name and mobile number, so you can keep up to date with news and developments
  • Multihulls are welcome, but will need a special handicap estimated by the organisers.
