"I must down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky, And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by; And the wheel’s kick and the wind’s song and the white sail’s shaking, And a grey mist on the sea’s face, and a grey dawn breaking..."
From "Sea Fever" by John Masefield
Not quite racing as we know it, but white sail racing is taking place on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons. If you are interested in taking part the non-committee boat start and finish procedures are used and races start and finish on the Blackstone Point Line.
It has also been great to see lots of paddle boarders and families using their ribs for trips up river and wakeboarding (all observing the 2m distance, of course).
We would be pleased to receive any photos of your moments back on the water to share with members. Email: office@royaldart.co.uk
